Who handles your data
Romāns Trojanovs, Fazanu 19, Riga, LV-1084, Latvia, info@printika.eu
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, email, phone, delivery address or parcel locker, and your note to us.
- Company details, if you give them: company name, registration number and VAT number.
- Order details: chosen options, file names, prices, order history, invoices and payments.
- The 3D files you upload. They rarely hold personal data, but a file name or a shape can reveal some.
- Our own records about a customer: a mark such as good customer or problem customer, and private notes. They help us with later orders and do not change prices automatically.
- Your IP address on every request and your email on orders, to limit abuse. We store them as a hash and delete it within 2 days. We keep no access log. Error logs may hold page addresses and are overwritten automatically.
We need your name, email, phone and delivery details to take an order. Without them we cannot accept it. Company details are optional.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To review, make and deliver your order and answer your questions: the contract with you, GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
- To issue invoices, keep accounts and check VAT numbers: our legal obligations, GDPR Article 6(1)(c).
- To protect the site from abuse, keep our records about customers and deal with claims: our legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
- To show the parcel locker map you open: our legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
- To see which of our Google ads lead to orders, only if you allow advertising cookies: your consent, GDPR Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
- To count visits and see which pages are read, without cookies and without identifying you: our legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
- To stop the printing of prohibited items and report an order that looks unlawful to the competent authorities: our legitimate interests, GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
We do not send marketing email, and we do not make decisions with legal effect about you by automated means alone.
Who receives it
- The carrier you choose receives what it needs for delivery.
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany, hosts the site on servers in Finland.
- Zoho Corporation B.V., Netherlands, handles our email. Mail is stored in the EU. Zoho support in India can access it under EU standard contractual clauses.
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA, runs the robot check on the checkout page. It receives your IP address and browser data and may process them outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, if that lapses, EU standard contractual clauses. It also uses them on its own account to improve its bot detection.
- Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, receives, only if you allow advertising cookies, your IP address, browser data, the pages you open on our site without the quote and order links, the ad that brought you and the amount of an order you place. Google may process them in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and uses some of them on its own account, as its privacy policy describes.
- The OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom, and its delivery network, which may operate outside the UK, supply the images of the parcel locker map. They receive your IP address, browser data and the address of our site. The EU recognises UK data protection as adequate.
- The European Commission receives a VAT number you enter, for the check in its VIES system.
- Banks handle your transfer. Our accountant, the State Revenue Service and other authorities receive data where the law requires it.
- The police and other competent authorities receive the order details and files of an order that looks unlawful.
We do not sell personal data.
Ask us for a copy of the safeguards for transfers outside the EU.
How long we keep it
- Models you never ordered: deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Models from an order: deleted automatically 180 days after the last activity on the finished order.
- Invoices and payments: at least 5 years, longer while needed to trace the transaction. Accounting registers: 10 years.
- Orders never paid: 12 months after they close, unless an invoice for them must be kept.
- Your emails and our records about you: as long as we keep your orders.
- Backups: deleted data can stay in them for up to 7 more days.
Your order link
Your order page opens through a long private link, without a password. Anyone who has the link can see the details there, so share it only with people you trust.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit its use and to receive it in a machine-readable form. You may object to any use based on our legitimate interests. We cannot delete what the law requires us to keep. Write to us at the address above and we will answer within one month.
You may also complain to the data protection authority of your EU country. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija): Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv, dvi.gov.lv.
Cookies
The site needs two cookies to work: sessionid keeps your quote for 14 days, and csrftoken protects forms for one year. The robot check on the checkout page may store technical data in your browser for that check.
Only if you allow it, the Google Ads tag stores the _gcl_au cookie on our site for 90 days, and Google may set its own advertising cookies, to tell which ad brought you to us. Your choice stays in your browser for 12 months. Change it at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
